Abstract

In June 2017 in Meulaboh City there was inflation of 0.48 percent, in Kota Banda Aceh inflation was 0.81 percent and in Kota Lhokseumawe inflation was 0.90 percent.

Inflation occurring in Meulaboh City is generally caused by price increases in Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Fuel Group Group experienced inflation of 1.55 percent; Followed by the Transport, Communications and Financial Services Group experiencing inflation of 0.91 percent; Sandang Group experienced inflation of 0.88 percent; And the Food, Beverage, Cigarette and Tobacco Group experienced inflation of 0.29 percent. While the education, recreation and sports group experienced deflation by 0.06 percent; The Foodstuffs group experienced a deflation of 0.28 percent; And the Health Group experienced a deflation of 0.70 percent.

The inflation rate for calendar year up to June 2017 for Meulaboh City is 1.71 percent; Kota Banda Aceh 1.89 percent and Kota Lhokseumawe minus 0.83 percent. "Year on year" inflation (June 2017 to June 2016) for Meulaboh City was 4.32 percent; Kota Banda Aceh 3.94 percent and Kota Lhokseumawe 4.10 percent.
