Abstract

In May 2017 the city of Meulaboh inflation of 0.06 percent, the city of Banda Aceh inflation of 0.86 percent and in the city of Lhokseumawe inflation of 0.90 percent. Inflation occurring in Meulaboh City is generally caused by price increases in the Group of Water, Electricity, Gas and Fuel experienced inflation of 0.64 percent; Followed by the Health Group at 0.56 percent; Education, recreation and sports by 0.34 percent; The Transport, Communications and Financial Services Group experienced inflation of 0.31 percent; And Group Clothing by 0,22 percent; Foodstuffs experienced deflation of 0.61 percent. And the Food, Beverage, Tobacco and Tobacco Group did not experience any index changes. The inflation rate for calendar year up to May 2017 for Meulaboh City is 1.22 percent; Banda Aceh city is 1.08 percent and Lhokseumawe city is minus 1.72 percent.
