Abstract

In April 2016 Meulaboh experienced deflation of 0.14 percent, Banda Aceh experienced deflation of 1.09 percent and Lhokseumawe experienced deflation of 0.39 percent.

Expenditure groups with the highest deflation in the Transport, Communications and Financial Services category at 2.69 percent; followed by Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Fuels with deflation of 0.10 percent. While the Foodstuffs expenditures experienced inflation of 0.36 percent; followed by Sandang with inflation of 0.10 percent; Health category with inflation of 0.10 percent; Food, Beverages, Cigarettes and Tobacco with inflation of 0.09 percent; and Education, Recreation and Sport with inflation of 0.01 percent.

Inflation rate of year calendar until April 2016 for Meulaboh was 0.62 percent; Banda Aceh was minus 0.72 percent and Lhokseumawe was minus 0.43 percent. Year on year inflation (April 2016 to April 2015) of Meulaboh is 2.89 percent; Banda Aceh is 1.90 percent and Lhokseumawe is 3.41 percent.
