Abstract

Inflation that occurred in Meulaboh occurred due to price increases as indicated by the increase in the index for the expenditure group, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.27 percent; the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.13 percent; the equipment, tools and household routine maintenance group by 0.49 percent; and personal care and other services group of 0.26 percent. The expenditure group that experienced deflation were the information, communication and financial services group at 0.05 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that did not change were the clothing and footwear group; health group; transportation group; recreational, sports, and cultural groups; education group; and food and beverage / restaurant supply groups.
