Abstract

In August 2016 in the city of Meulaboh, an inflation of 0.52 percent, in the city of Banda Aceh deflation of 0.35 percent and in the city of Lhokseumawe inflation of 0.49 percent.

Inflation in the city of Meulaboh general, due to price increases on the Sandang group experienced inflation of 1.23 percent; followed by the Group of Food, Beverages, Cigarettes and Tobacco with an inflation of 0.87 percent; Group Transport, Communications and Financial Services experienced inflation of 0.58 percent; Group Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Fuels experienced inflation of 0.40 percent; and Group Material Food inflation at 0.04 percent. While the Health Group deflation of 0.07 percent; followed by the Group of Education, Recreation and Sport with deflation of 0.05 percent.

Inflation calendar year up to the month of August 2016 for the city of Meulaboh was at 2.11 percent; Kota Banda Aceh and Lhokseumawe 1.48 percent to 1.25 percent. Inflation "year on year" (August 2016 to August 2015) for the city of Meulaboh was of 2.93 percent; Kota Banda Aceh and Lhokseumawe 2.00 percent 3.54 percent.
