Abstract

In May 2016, Meulaboh experienced inflation of 0.39 percent, Banda Aceh experienced inflation of 0.73 percent and Lhokseumawe experienced inflation of 0.25 percent.

Expenditure groups with the highest inflation is Food Ingredients at 1.16 percent; followed by Health category with inflation of 0.38 percent; Food, Beverages, Cigarettes and Tobacco experienced inflation of 0.25 percent; Clothing category with inflation of 0.24 percent. While Education, Recreation and Sports experienced deflation of 0.02 percent; followed by Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Fuels category with deflation of 0.01 percent; and Transport, Communications and Financial Services category with deflation of 0.01 percent.

Inflation rate of year calendar until May 2016 for Meulaboh was at 1,01 percent; Kota Banda Aceh at 0.00 percent and Lhokseumawe at minus 0.19 percent. Year on year inflation (May 2016 to May 2015) of Meulaboh is 2.61 percent; Banda Aceh is 2.12 percent and Lhokseumawe is 3.28 percent.
