Survey of Rice Crop Cultivation based on KSA in West Aceh

On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, the Economic Production Statistics Team of BPS West Aceh conducted a Survey of Rice Crop Cultivation based on KSA (Area Sampling Framework) in Deuah Village, Samatiga District, West Aceh Regency.

The Survey of Rice Crop Cultivation activity is a routine survey conducted by the Central Statistics Agency every month with the main objective of obtaining information regarding rice crop productivity and other supporting information, such as planting methods, planting systems, fertilizer usage, pest and disease control, and others.

The productivity information obtained from the Survey results can be used as an estimate of rice/paddy production (tons per hectare) as well as the availability of food stocks in a particular region at a specific time period, whether the condition is surplus or deficit to meet the rice consumption needs in that area.
